Overview[]
When Shanel was a kid, she wanted to do it all, be everything and anything, all at once. Since then, not much has changed. She's been singing, dancing, putting on full-scale one-woman-songs (costumes, props and all), for as long as she can remember. She is a born performer who nurtured this bug by attending Frank Sinatra School of the Arts, where she discovered what musical theatre and it's career-potential. She is a 2019 Summa Cumm Laude Syracuse University Grad with a BFA in Musical Theatre, and joined the cast of The Book of Mormon on Broadway a month later. Broadway is currently shut down, but she's kept busy dancing, singing Youtube covers, and self-taping! She recently booked her first TV gig guest-starring in an episode of the upcoming show "The Equalizer" starring Queen Latifah". Though times may seems bleak, She'll never stop hoping and working for a brighter future.[1]
