Overview

As they walked home from the dance, Hazel and Wally talked about her love of the constellations. She thought it was funny that people liked them together when they were so different. He didn't think they were that different, as he had his way of getting away from the world. He liked to surf, which surprised her. To explain his love of surfing and how their two interests weren't that different, he sang her a song about meeting in the middle, and she eventually joined in. They dance along the street with background vocalists, in the downpour of an open fire hydrant, and he gave her his jacket when it began to rain. They ended their duet with a kiss.
