Grease Wiki

High Rollin' is a song performed by the T-Birds in the Paramount+ original series, Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies.

Overview[]

Richie convinced the T-Birds to join him on an impromptu trip to a desert casino. He saw their tensions and offered up a reefer from his pocket, which they smoked together. They burst through the doors of the casino in song, danced with the waitresses, imagined the slot machines came to life, and gambled for hours. Their song ended when they learned their car was towed.[1]

Lyrics[]

[T-Birds]:
Tonight we're getting high rollin'
Until it's nine in the mornin'
[Richie]:
Leave your little life behind
We're going bigger than big time
[T-Birds]:
We're high rollin'
High rolling!

[Richie]:
No more Gil slicing meat tonight
We're getting served by pretty ladies
[T-Birds]:
Getting served by pretty ladies!
[Richie]:
Big boys don't count calories
They eat the whole damn place without a worry
(Yeah, yeah)

Oh, out here, out here
No one knows me or you
We got no, got no dirty laundry

[T-Birds]:
Tonight we're getting high rollin'
Until it's nine in the mornin'
Leave your little life behind
We're going bigger than big time
We're high rollin'
(High rolling!)

[Richie]:
No eyes in the back of your head
Because tonight, baby
No sitting babies
[T-Birds]:
We're only making babies
[Richie]:
I'm aiming for the slit of her dress
She don't even need persuading
[T-Birds]:
All potatoes need some gravy

[Richie]:
Oh, out here, out here
No one knows me or you
We got no, got no dirty laundry

[T-Birds]:
Tonight we're getting high rollin'
Until it's nine in the mornin'
Leave you little life behind
We're going bigger than big time
We're high rollin'
High rollin'!
We're high rollin'
High rolling!
